COVID-19 Update – March 9, 2022

With COVID cases declining in Kanawha County and the state, Edgewood Summit has also seen all cases of COVID on the campus recover fully and no new active cases have emerged.  Although we are still wearing masks indoors and may be one of the last areas which will be given the okay to remove mask mandates, we continue for now to enforce mask use in Activities, Transportation, the public areas of the Community, the Dining Room except when eating and drinking and the Hair Salon.  Screening upon entry to the buildings is continuing but temperature checks are no longer required unless symptoms of COVID are present.

In other news, our Re-Fresh/Renovation which began in the corridors and main lobby now moves to the Dining Rooms.  The Ridgemont renovation is underway with work progressing after hours to avoid disruption to meals for Residents.  Please excuse our transition to the new paint, wallcovering, flooring, furniture and more.  The Private Dining Rooms will follow as next steps in the process.  We will keep you updated as the new fresh look for Edgewood Summit continues.

Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
